TCPD Cracks Series Of Burglaries

A local man has been arrested in connection to a string of burglaries in the area the past month.
The Moose Lodge and Sun Valley Hardware had been burglarized twice each since November 16. A burglary was reported November 26 at the Sara Lee Bread Storage Unit on New School Road, and a residential larceny was reported November 28 on Madeline Street.
A man identified as Antonio Bimbo, 26, of 1204 Silver Street, was arrested November 30 in connection with the numerous area burglaries.
The Moose Lodge reported burglaries on November 16 and November 19. Items reported as being taken from each of the burglaries consisted of food products such as bacon, sausage and hot dogs. Sun Valley Hardware reported burglaries on November 23 and November 29. Store staff reported propane tanks, carpeting and various yard equipment items had been taken.
A report of a burglary was taken November 26 at the Sara Lee Bread Storage Unit on New School Road where various bread items were reported missing.
A gas grill was also reported missing in a residential larceny November 28 on Madeline St.
T-or-C Police Officers James Harrington and Jerome Cordova conducted follow up interviews into the Madeline Street incident and came into contact with  Bimbo. During the interview,  Bimbo confessed to officers his involvement in the first burglary at the Moose Lodge and the most recent one at ….
