Flushing Drugs Doesn’t Save Woman From Arrest

New Mexico State Police served a search warrant on a Caballo Road residence Friday, November 15, arresting a 31-year-old woman on drug related charges.

According to documents filed in Magistrate Court, State Police were greeted by a man in the front yard of the mobile home as they arrived to serve the search warrant. The man was detained and officers knocked on the door. No one answered the door and no movement was heard inside the home.

Agents were able to get through the door and upon entering the kitchen area observed Adriana Nunez coming from down the hall. Nunez was also detained while the rest of the home was cleared. A drug-sniffing dog was brought in and alerted to the kitchen area and the two bedrooms.

Court documents show that agents found a digital scale on the floor of the kitchen, along with $580 cash and two notebooks in one of the bedrooms that appeared to be ledgers for who owed money.

There were also jars, bags and containers containing methamphetamine, pipes and other drug paraphernalia, as well as another digital scale and a glass bong found inside the home. All of the item……
