City Decisions Force Election

In two separate actions during their November 13 regular session, T-or-C City Commissioners confirmed that voters would soon be asked to render a final decision on two diverse matters.
With the commission solidly divided and unable to agree upon how to fill a vacant seat on the board for the past few months, Mayor Mulcahy said he was at a loss with how else to proceed. The mayor entered a motion for city officials to organize a formal election in order to name a replacement for the late commissioner, Freddie Torres.
Mayor Pro-Tem Whitehead seconded the motion and board members confirmed unanimously that voters would decide the matter.
