Hot Springs High School's “Teens Make A Difference” float was judged the best in overall design and message out of approximately 80 entries during the 59th annual Truth or Consequences Fiesta parade Saturday morning, May 3. The float netted the school the winner's plaque and $300 in prize money.

The second place winner was Ace Electric, who also won a plaque and $200. Third place honors went to Sierra Health Care Center and their 25th anniversay float, taking home a plaque and $100...

Williamsburg Explores
Annexation

The Williamsburg village board on May 8 discussed the infrastructure capital improvement plan (ICIP) for the coming years. Trustee Don Childers said that he is suggesting the village could buy a camera that would be capable of inspecting the inside of the village sewer lines.

T-or-C crews would perform the survey in the village, and ten the village would loan the city the camera setup so the city could use it to survey their sewer system...
